Leaders and business owners in the Filipino community gathered at the Palabok House on April 29th to organize a vigil for the Lapu Lapu Festival victims, to coincide with vigils being planned in other provinces across Canada. With only less than 24 hours to plan, everyone worked hard to make the vigil at City Hall Plaza successful.
