When I heard about the tragic events at the Lapu Lapu Festival on April 26, I was devastated. The collective heartbreak of the Filipino community was overwhelmingly palpable, and I wanted to do something to help.

I own Dancercise YEG, a fitness class that combines easy dance moves into upbeat aerobic excercises. I decided to use that platform to help raise money for the victims and their families, who need support for funeral, medical and living expenses.
